June 2008: Fighting broke out between citizens of Tripoli. Citizens from Jabal Muhsen began an assault of Beb Al tebbeneh. No one is sure what provoked the citizens of Jabal Muhsen to start a war but there are strong suspicions that Syria was supporting them.
